27.64.010 PURPOSE.

The purpose of this chapter is to alleviate or prevent congestion of the public streets, and to promote the safety and welfare of the public by establishing minimum requirements for the off-street parking and loading and unloading of motor vehicles in accordance with the use to which property is put. In addition to the requirements of this chapter, all off-street parking shall conform to the requirements of the City "Standard Drawings and Specifications" as adopted by resolution of the City Council and on file with the public works department.
